Charity football match to help HROC achieve 4T goal!

As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations here at HROC, we have set ourselves the target of raising £40K for charity, with a 12-month programme of coordinated activities that will involve all staff at some point throughout the year.

We’re calling it the 4T Grand Challenge. It’s going to be quite a year with skydiving, abseiling and staff head shaves just a few of the myriad events already in the diary, not to mention the usual array of marathons, swimathons and bike rides. We have selected Birmingham Children’s Hospital as our main charity, but will also be making contributions to four other local charities during the year.

We partially rely on donated items to help us raise more for the selected charities we are raising money for. Experience Days are committed to supporting numerous charitable organisations in its desire to be an engaged and responsible corporate citizen and have generously donated an experience gift certificate up to the value of £50 (or an open £50 certificate).

Our next event will be the HROC vs The Rest of the World Charity Football Match where employees of HROC will be pitting their footballing talents against a ROTW style team made up of suppliers, friends and family. Not to mention the odd celebrity former Premier League referee to make sure everyone stays within the laws of the game. The game will take place on Friday 17thMay (7:15pm kick-off) at Silhillians Sports Club (situated at J5 of the M42, with free parking and easy motorway access).

Everyone is welcome to come along and show their support. Admission on the day is £5 per person and kids are FREE. You can donate to our 4T goal here.
