New account manager joins Midlands-based fully integrated marketing agency, HROC, as part of its ongoing growth strategy.
Moseley marketing agency, HROC, has recruited account manager Penny Thorp, making this the agency’s fifth appointment in six months.
Following significant new client wins this year, HROC is expanding its team to help manage its growing portfolio of international and national clients. In her new role, Thorp will be managing a number of consumer PR and social media accounts, as well as supporting the team in new business growth across the retail, FMCG and leisure sectors. Thorp’s appointment follows the employment of PR director, Marie Carter, who joined the company earlier in the year to expand the consumer division further.
Thorp, who has over six years’ PR and marketing experience, has previously worked with clients including Marks & Spencer, HSBC, Hilton, Carillion and PHS.
Steve Sherran, managing director of PR and social media at HROC, said: “We’ve experienced incredible growth already this year and Penny’s appointment adds strength and depth to our growing and talented team. With her wealth of experience and strong skill-set, her appointment will really bolster our team and continue to position HROC as the leading PR agency within the Midlands.”
