The Challenge

Solus Ceramics is one the UK’s leading architectural wall and floor tile suppliers, with a innovative and design led portfolio that adds value to commercial developments and is highly specified by architects. HROC was tasked with bringing a recent Solus Ceramics’ project to life, and recommended producing a high end B2B video showreel that could be used across social channels and as sales collateral.

The Solution

Careful storyboarding and scripting went into the planning process and a date was agreed with one of Solus Ceramics’ key projects for filming at one of Birmingham’s most iconic cocktail bars, Be At One. Solus Ceramics tiles are located in a number of different areas within the bar and HROC was given the task of highlighting how the tiles were crucial in creating the perfect design aesthetic, and capturing the atmosphere of a stylish night out destination.

The Result

HROC created an exciting and informative short case study film that focused on the intricate qualities of the tile ranges and how these were reflected in the bar aesthetic. Aimed at architects and designers, the video highlighted the impact the tiles made to the bar, which is located at basement level. We used one of Solus Ceramics’ sales team to explain the key design brief and how the tiles chosen fulfilled this.
