After a lengthy and thorough R&D process including customer focus groups, leading electric water heating manufacturer, Redring, was ready to launch its brand new range of electric showers to the UK trade market. HROC’s job was to maximise the launch to Redring’s key customers through the media.
To ensure media exposure of the product launch was maximised, HROC’s PR team suggested a press showcase to be held in London.
The HROC PR team recommended a press launch event, with a ‘water’ theme to link it perfectly with the new product. After researching venues, we chose Bank, an exclusive restaurant in the heart of Westminster overlooking the Thames, as the ideal venue. The team worked with Redring’s senior product and marketing team to develop the agenda and content for the day, including full event management and media liaison.
Following a successful launch event with product presentations and product walk-arounds, the media were treated to a thrilling rib experience on the Thames, with the boat hurtling down the river at astonishing speeds.
