HRO'C takes pride in a crisis
HRO’C Public Relations scooped Gold at the recent CIPR Pride Awards for a campaign that tested its crisis management skills to the limit. The agency saw off competition from the Environment Agency, NFU Mutual and another Birmingham based consultancy in what was a heavily contested category.
The project was of a complex nature that required careful handling as it was an extremely sensitive issue, and the judging panel which is made up of a national panel of industry experts recognised the outstanding way in which the agency handled what at times, was a difficult and emotive task.
Just to be shortlisted was a considerable achievement as there were over 1,500 entries UK-wide this year.
Steve Sherran, Managing Director at HRO’C PR commented: “It is a fantastic achievement to win a Pride Award, particularly Gold in such a prestigious category. The team at HRO’C has worked extremely hard over the past 12 months to deliver successful campaigns for all our clients and it is very pleasing to be recognised in this way.”
Melissa Page, Chair of CIPR Midlands, said: “To win a CIPR PRide Award is a tremendous achievement. This year’s winners really do have something to shout about, having faced the highest number of entries and stiffest competition ever. A CIPR PRide Award is a hallmark of professionalism and success, marking the best in our profession out from the crowd.”
