Charity Moustache Fever Grips HRO’C

Flexing our male prowess, the Mo’s at HRO’C have been talking part in Movember – helping to raise much-needed donations for Prostrate Cancer Awareness.

The idea of Movember was inspired in 2003 when a few guys from Melbourne, Australia, decided to bring the moustache back and create awareness around men’s health. No money was raised that year however in 2004 the campaign evolved, raising over $55,000 for the Prostate Cancer of Australia.

The Movember awareness campaign has expanded to the United States, as well as UK, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, Spain, South Africa, the Netherlands and Finland.

Beginning at the start of the month, the agency has been a testosterone-fuelled arena with Mo’s battling out to see who could grow the most impressive upper lip fuzziness.

Taking style queues from Lionel Richie, Freddie Mercury and Magnum PI the ladies of the agency have been aghast at the sheer manliness of it all.

So far the team has raised £650 and is still collecting donations at http://uk.movember.com/mospace/546230/ so dig deep and support the cause!
