Först’s social media channels were gathering momentum with the arboriculture sector, with an engaged social community of fans and followers that was growing on a daily basis. The next step for the brand that was still relatively new to the social arena was developing its Youtube presence, as well as increasing exposure with a younger audience to help influence them on the strengths of the Först brand from an early age.
HROC utilised Först’s partnership with Merrist Wood, one of the UK’s leading arboriculture colleges, where Först products were put through their paces daily by students as part of their practical classes. On location at Merrist Wood, the HROC PR and video team created an engaging video to highlight the strength of the Först brand and its key messages, filming students using the machines and interviewing the head lecturer to act as a brand ambassador.
The finished video successfully represented the partnership between Först and Merrist Wood College, and the positive impact the Först machines have on its students. Throughout the video, Först’s key messages were conveyed through an honest testimonial from the college’s head lecturer, adding authenticity to the video. The case study was used as a key piece of collateral across Först’s social channels and at events/trade shows, as an example of its commitment to the industry and the future generation.
